We are incredibly proud to announce that Derek Nash, British Jazz Award-winning bandleader, composer, arranger, producer and engineer, has become a patron of The Lewis Project, and we couldnโt be happier!
Derek is one of the UKโs most respected and in-demand jazz musicians. Earlier this year, he visited us and played alongside our young saxophonist Robbie Ayers (pictured), joining in on several original songs by our members. His warmth, generosity and energy brought smiles all round and we knew instantly he was the right person to support our work.
We asked him to be our patron that same night and just a few weeks later, he came back with a resounding yes. Welcome to the family, Derek!
You can watch their jamming session in full swing here!
